CIEH Level 2 award in Environmental Principles and Practice

This is a one day course aimed at those whose business can have an impact on the environment as well as being an excellent course for raising staff awareness of environmental issues and the benefits to business that can be obtained by being more of issues and opportunities. With many organisations having identified significant cost savings and business advantage through being more environmentally aware. By the end of the course attendees will be able to

·         Identify primary local and global environmental impacts of their organisation
·         Understand key terms and definitions of pollution

·         Learn basic principles, key concepts and importance of environmental law

·         Identify the link between their jobs and a range of environmental impacts

·         Understand business benefits of adopting an environmental management system

·         Identify key issues related to energy use and carbon management, waste minimisation, water use, pollution and emergency planning

 

This is a full day course with a multiple choice exam and accreditation at the end of the day
